Attorney Cindy R. Baum

Attorney Cindy R. Baum was born and raised in Illinois. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Eastern Illinois University in 1992, with a major in political science. She graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 1995.

After graduation, she worked for Woodcock and Kline, P.C., in Mt. Carmel, IL, where she received first-hand training and instruction from George Woodcock, who was then the city mayor, and his partner, Richard Kline. Both were highly respected trial attorneys.

In 1997, she began working for Meyer, Austin and Romano, P.C., in Taylorville, IL. She continued her litigation practice with this firm until 1999 when she and Attorney Bill Davis formed Davis and Baum where she once again focused on litigation.

In 2004, Cindy Baum joined Hausmann-McNally, S.C., and began concentrating her practice in the area of personal injury law. Prior to 2004, she had maintained a broad general practice that gave her a large amount of experience with court appearances, trials and preparing cases for trial. Working for Hausmann-McNally has given her the opportunity to fight on behalf of people who have been injured; people who may not be able to fight for themselves.

Throughout her career, she has focused on providing clients with personal, high-quality legal service. Cindy Baum works to demonstrate to her clients that she cares about them as individuals and acknowledges the personal struggles experienced by accident victims.

She is married to Rafal Olszewski, who works as a computer programmer and has a step-son, Andrew. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and her pets, fishing and gardening.
