Attorney Rodney A. Tucker is an experienced attorney in many facets of personal injury law. Prior to joining Hausmann-McNally, S.C. in their Indianapolis office in 2008, he was managing attorney with GEICO in its Indiana office and handled all cases through trial. He had his own Indiana law practice and prior to that, he was managing attorney for Citizen Insurance Company in Indiana where he supervised two offices with six attorneys plus staff.
Tucker is a native of southern California who moved to Indiana because it is where he and his wife Terri wanted to raise their children. He is a graduate of Western State College of Law and has practiced law on both sides of the table in personal injury law.
He has represented people in over 90 jury trials and has handled the largest and most complex cases through trial and appeal. He has worked on the highest exposure and most complex cases for TIG Insurance Group and supervised the trial preparation of other attorneys in their office.
He now devotes his professional time to helping people who have been injured, through no fault of their own, in automobile, motorcycle and truck accidents. His experience on both sides of the table, representing both plaintiffs and defendants, puts him in the unique position of knowing how the other side—principally insurance industry--works.
He is a registered civil mediator for both California and Indiana and is an adjunct professor of law and ethics at Indiana Wesleyan University. He is also a regular speaker at continuing legal education seminars.
He is admitted to practice law in Indiana, California, Federal and U.S. Supreme courts.
In his personal time Rodney Tucker volunteers to help disabled and impoverished people by taking on pro bono (no fee) cases on their behalf. He was awarded the Indiana Bar Foundation Chief Justice Randle Shepherd Pro Bono Award in 2004 and the Hamilton County Pro Bono Award in 2006 for his work in that area.
His son Matthew is a student at Purdue University and daughter Rebecca is an actor and professional photographer.
